The Friends of Greenfield Recreation is a 501c(3) organization that brings together residents of Greenfield who are interested in sustaining recreational activities, parks, and community building opportunities in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
We aim to focus public attention on recreational needs and stimulate participation in youth and adult programs by raising funds to support community events and recreational opportunities. We are a volunteer organization with a goal of supporting the Recreation Department and the continuation of programs, activities and events so they will be open to all residents. Friends of Greenfield Recreation are valuable assets to the Recreation Department.
The Greater Greenfield Pickleballers are a group of local pickleball enthusiasts who are working closely with the Friends of Greenfield Recreation to raise funds for the construction of 6 new state of the art pickleball courts at Abercrombie field. Find out more about the project here.
